Push ups are a great exercise to target your arms, chest, and shoulders as well as your core. Begin by positioning your hands on the ground slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Slowly lower your body down until your chest is near the ground, then press back up until your arms are nearly straight. Make sure to keep your core tight throughout the entire exercise. Repeat for 10-12 reps and complete a total of 3 sets.



Routine 3: Lunges



Lunges are a great exercise to target the muscles in your legs. To begin, step one leg forward and take a large step forward. Bend both your legs until your back knee is almost touching the ground. Press up through the front leg, pushing your chest up and squeezing your glutes at the top of the movement. Switch legs and repeat for 10-12 reps on each side and complete a total of 3 sets.



Routine 4: Plank



The plank is an effective bodyweight exercise to target your core. To begin, lay on the floor with your elbows resting on the ground directly beneath your shoulders. Push your arms and body off the ground, holding your core and glutes tight as you form a straight line from your head to your feet. Make sure to keep your head neutral and keep your neck in line with your spine. Hold for 30-60 seconds and complete a total of 3 sets.



Routine 5: Jumping Jacks



Jumping jacks are a great full-body cardio exercise. Stand up straight with your feet together and jump, spreading your legs out to the sides and reaching your arms overhead. Jump back to the starting position, bringing your arms back down to your sides. Repeat for as many jumping jacks as you can manage, aiming for at least 60 seconds. Complete a total of 3 sets.
