In UAE alone, there are around 21 branches of Gold’s Gym. They offer the latest services and equipment and includes group workouts, individual training, cardio gear, weight training and more. With over 30,000-square foot space, the Gold’s Gym Al Barsha branch has both a Mixed gym and Ladies-Only facility. It is equipped with TEAMBEATS™ from Technogym as well as a complete range of exercise machines from the Pure Strength product line, Element+, Skill Line, Excite Series Steppers, Treadmills, and Cross Trainers. The club has a functional training area, group exercise studio, and a cycling studio that offers the latest Les Mills classes.

Customer Opinions

A lot of customers claim that Gold’s Gym Al Barsha Mall has state-of-the-art equipment and excellent group classes. It is a comfortable environment and it is very spacious inside. The gymnasioum is apparently very clean and the toilets are always hygienic and tidy. There is additionally a ladies-only section which is a huge advantage for women who want to train without the presence of men. However, there are some common critiques about the staff, size of toilets and overall customer service. Many clients have had a bad experience with dealing with some of the personal trainers and receptionists. Additionally, there are only 4 toilet cubicles, which some customers find to be inconvenient due to the volume of people that train there. The ladies-only area is also very small and not equipped for professional trainers.

The Bottom Line

Overall, Gold’s Gym Al Barsha Mall is a good, hygienic gym that gives women the opportunity to train in complete comfort too. We recommend this gym for those who are not beginners and are likely to train during the day. If you are a beginner and can only train in the evenings, we do not recommend this gym due to the congestion in the evening and lack of support from the staff.
