The biggest and most powerful means of generating sales on the platform are reviews (testimonials). Interestingly 75-85% of all sales happen through word-of-mouth.
Reviews instantly build trust between you and your new potential clients. Our main job at MYFITAPE is to help you increase sales and build a client base that can build you a passive income.
If you’re a partner on the platform then it’s your duty, to achieve a minimum of 10 reviews in the first week. To do so you will need to reach out to your previous clients and request that they leave you a review.
1. Make a list
Create a list of all clients in the last 18 months, if you have not reached or connected with them in the last 3 months, then it’s a perfect occasion to re-ignite your communication and see where they’re along their journey. You never know, they might already be looking for another training session or to get motivated.
2. Send them an Invite
For clients you received on the platform, you should request a review after your first session, as this gives the clients an overall expectation of your performance.
Invite them through a phone call, text or WhatsApp. You will want to keep it simple and straight to the point. Through our experience, we have come to realise that clients will go an extra mile for their trainers as people tend to forget what is said but not how they feel.
Here is an example of an invite template that you can use, just replace the client_name with your client’s name and ‘profile_link’ with your profile link.
How are you? Hope all is well. I wanted to reach out to see if you can be kind enough to leave me a positive review on my MYFITAPE profile. It will help me impact and train more clients.
When would you be able to give me review?
Here’s the link: profile_link
3. How to find your profile link
To find your profile link, simply visit your profile. Then copy and paste the URL (see screenshot below).
Once you copy the URL, paste it onto your template above or your message. The reason why you want to have the URL ready is because you want to make it as easy as possible for your clients to submit a review.
4. Follow Up
The fortune is in the follow-up. Be sure to follow up with your clients if the review is not submitted straight away. Clients can potentially be busy at work, with family and travelling.
This is why the question in the template requests a particular time from clients because they will have to respond and also give you (the partner), the time frame of when to expect the review. If they do not do it within that time, then chances are they have been occupied and that is where you follow up with them until they do.
5. More Reviews, More Clients
Our platform works on an algorithm that factors client testimonials, profile quality and views. Based on these factors you will generate more impressions on users that visit the website, in turn, the more impressions the higher your chances are of being booked and your success spiralling with even more reviews and further bookings.
