I am a Portuguese single mother of 3 boys – but lived in the UK for 30 years – with a background in marketing. I come from being very overweight, weighing 114 Kgs at my highest, and approximately 12 years ago, I decided that I was too unhappy to stay the way I was.
I changed my diet and started exercising, and the more weight I lost, ladies at the gym started noticing and asking for advice; eventually I started helping/ training people for free and loved it so much that decided to completely change my career and become a full time Personal trainer.
I absolutely love my job; I love helping people get fitter, stronger, healthier, happier and more emotionally balanced. It is so empowering and rewarding to help people transform their lives, physically and mentally, with my support and guidance.
I am constantly learning and striving for personal development and to be able to better support my clients – who inevitably become my friends – I have also become a Nutrition coach, having achieved 2 separate nutrition qualifications with Precision Nutrition and NASM – National Academy of Sports Medicine.
